Successful V-Day
My boyfriend skipped his classes and borrowed his friend’s car to come see me today. He brought me a dozen orange-ish roses (well, it actually ended up being 15 roses) and a big bag of Reese’s. We went to lunch at Plaza Azteca, which is always delicious and way better than other Mexican places because of the white sauce they serve with the chips. Then I got a nosebleed and had to spend 25 minutes in the bathroom, how romantic right? But this was followed by Sweet Frog and a movie which was lovely. He left around 4:30, and I promptly paid for my day off by spending the rest of the evening buried under the massive amount of work I have due tomorrow. I still haven’t touched the reading for my Cervantes class. Maybe I’d be more motivated to if it weren’t so utterly useless. At least tomorrow I get to tutor my middle school kiddies in the morning :)
